Towards zero malaria.
Faith leaders from the Regions with the highest malaria transmission in the country are advocating and partnering to achieve zero local malaria cases in Namibia.

Namibia is taking action.
The 2023-2025 Global Fund allocation for malaria increased to 14% of the total country allocation, from 8%, resulting in an increase for malaria of approximately USD 1.6 million.
Heath education and service provision in malaria affected communities has begun to be conducted by multi-sectoral teams, beyond the Ministry of Health, demonstrating the dynamic action needed from all sectors in order to achieve and sustain malaria elimination.

FLAME continues to advocate for a fit-for-purpose End Malaria Council in Namibia to increase domestic investments towards ending malaria.
Malaria partners in Namibia have seen the increase in IRS acceptance since FLAME was established, saying FLAME Namibia was the cause for the reduction by at least 5% of IRS refusals in 2022.
FLAME has influenced the development of the National Malaria Elimination Strategic Plan for 2023 to 2027.
FLAME closely partners with the Regional Malaria Elimination Task Forces, which, similar to FLAME, also aim to advocate and mobilize domestic resources for malaria, and are composed of line-ministries at the regional level, Regional/Town and/or City Councils, the academe, civil society at sub-national level, companies and associations of the private sector.
